Maintenance Menu

The Maintenance Menu contains several functions that are not normal operations associated with debtors. However, they provide critical support functions.

Note: The Backup and Restore options are only necessary if you are operating this system on your own workstation. If there is more than one workstation using this system then it is on a network file server which should be utilizing an automated backup system. If you are unsure, contact your I.T. staff.

- The Backup option does no harm and can be done on a regular basis. However, the Restore option should only be done in emergency situations or if an option was taken such as an ASCII or Excel Import that caused problems. Five Star Computing can always generate a database in the event of failure from your last file transmission.
